My favorite aspect of Clementine Hunter's work is that the scale of her paintings reflects not measured perspective or relative size, but instead how favored a particular subject in the painting is. In this case, Clementine clearly prefers the flowers (her favorite zinnias), the birdfeeder, and even the birds and people over the cabin which is reduced to about the size of one of the flower blossoms.

Hand painted on 13 mesh canvas, the design of this piece measures 16"x14". If you choose the "kit" option, we will include specially chosen colors of 3-ply Persian wool for stitching.
